Dr David Chambers -MBBS (UQ), BSc, FRACGP

Dr Chambers is one of the partners of the practice and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice. He is interested in all facets of General Practice, particularly chronic disease management and the management of skin conditions within primary care. David is interested in expanding the role of General Practice within our community by improving patient care and making it easier for patients to obtain their care needs "under the one roof" at our medical centre. David is committed to great patient care with both with his own patients and all those we see at our centre. He is a supervisor and teacher of training GP Registrars within our practice. Dr Chambers has lived, trained and worked in Ipswich, and is committed to providing for the health of residents for years to come.

DR TEGAN MCMONAGLE - GENERAL PRACTITIONER, MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Tegan McMonagle is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and a partner of Limestone Medical Centre. We were fortunate that her first specialist year of training was at our practice and since completing her fellowship in 2022, has become a key member of our community. She has broad-ranging interests in medicine, with specific interests in women’s and reproductive health, including Mirena and Implanon insertions. She has endeared herself to her patients with her lovely manner coupled with excellent clinical skills.

DR BENJAMIN MATTERS - GENERAL PRACTITIONER, MBBS (UQ), FRACGP

Dr Matters is our in-house DVA specialist and a partner of Limestone Medical Centre . As an ex-serving member he is passionate about veteran health and is knowledgeable on the complexities and nuances inherent in DVA policies. He has helped many Veterans gain access to their entitlements. Dr Matters has established strong relationships with a number of advocates and advocacy groups and maintains a strong relationship with defence and DVA. His popularity and expertise in supporting veterans’ health can lead to long wait times. Currently he is unable to accept new patients.

Dr Richard Chambers - General Practitioner, MBBS (UNSW)

Dr Richard Chambers brings a wealth of experience, having spent decades working in General Practice on the Gold Coast, before moving to Limestone Medical Centre more than 5 years ago. In addition to an outstanding understanding of General Practice medicine, he has a broad, longstanding experience in using acupuncture for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain. Limestone Medical Centre is rarely rivalled when it comes to a history of longstanding medical service to the community, being established in the 1920s. So it is fitting that Dr Richard comes from a large medical family spanning three generations of General Practitioners – from his father Dr Roland Chambers through to his son David. We're happy to add his family and personal history of great medical practice and service to our own at LMC.

Dr Rama Spencer - General Practitioner, MBBS (UQ), FRACGP

Dr Spencer is a GP with a wealth of experience and a history of medical and voluntary service to the Ipswich community spanning over 25 years. A graduate of the University of Queensland, Rama is passionate about treating “the whole person” with particular interests in adolescent health, skin and musculoskeletal medicine. We appreciate Rama’s advocacy on behalf of patients and her determination to partner with them to reach a great health outcome. Rama is active in providing medical education to both colleagues and the community. Her quirky sense of humour and commitment to care continue to endear Dr Spencer to us and her patients.

Dr Jessica Merlo -General Pracitioner, MBBS (UQ), FRACGP

Dr Merlo is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice. She has broad ranging interests in medicine including in the areas of paediatrics, general and emergency medicine. Dr Merlo and her horses are local residents, and she competes at state and national equestrian events - her major hobby. We look forward to Dr Merlo's continuing contribution to our practice and appreciate the excellent care she provides to our patients.

Dr Tony Liu – General Practitioner, MBBS, Bsc, FRACGP

Dr. Tony Liu provides general medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and health issues. He has experience supporting patients of all ages and has a special interest in managing chronic diseases, obesity, and mental health.

Dr. Liu graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (BSc/MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 2016. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Additionally, he has completed further postgraduate studies with the Sydney Child Health Program. He has trained and worked at Redcliffe Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital across multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, cardiology, lung transplant medicine, orthopaedics and intensive care.

Dr. Liu is passionate about medical education and holds an Associate Lecturer title at the University of Queensland, where he also works part-time teaching medical students at the UQ School of Medicine. He is dedicated to professional development and is currently working towards a fellowship with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).

Dr. Liu takes pride in making a difference in people’s lives through the provision of evidence-based and holistic care. His passion lies in health promotion, and he is patient-centric in his approach to practice.


Dr Hayley Auld - General Practitioner, BSc (Hons), MBBS (Qld), FRACGP

Dr Hayley Auld has been part of the Limestone Medical Centre family since 2019, and is proud to be a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She enjoys the variety of general practice and is passionate about caring for families across all stages of the lifespan. Her particular medical interests include women’s health, paediatrics, musculoskeletal medicine, dermatology and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and obesity. When not working, she is usually found spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr Melissa Davis - General Practitioner, MBBS (WSU) FRACGP

Dr Melissa Davis is a Sydney-trained GP, who completed her medical studies at Western Sydney University in 2015 and following with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021. She has moved to Queensland with her family for a better lifestyle. Dr Davis enjoys the variety that comes with working in general practice and being able to provide ongoing and continuous care for her patients and their families throughout all stages of their lives. She has a special interest in Indigenous health, Women's health including reproductive, antenatal and post-natal care and Paediatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, attending sporting matches, baking and spending time with her husband and children.

Dr Natasha Duncan - General Practitioner, MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Natasha Duncan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She in another of our "home grown" GPs, having completed her specialist GP training at LMC and then continuing on as part of the team. Natasha is interested in all areas of general practice including women's and adolescent health. Dr Duncan contributes fortnightly as a General Practitioner for the students at Bremer State High School.

DR AMY GRATTON - GP VOCATIONAL REGISTRAR, MBBS

Dr Gratton is a vocational registrar who is undertaking specialist general practice training at Limestone Medical Centre for 12 months during 2024. She is an enthusiastic practitioner of primary health and this is a shown benefit to her patients. We're excited about having Dr Gratton with us this year and appreciate her thorough, evidence-based approach to patient care.


DR JODIE CARIS - GP VOCATIONAL REGISTRAR, MBBS

Dr Jodie is a vocational registrar who is undertaking specialist general practice training at Limestone Medical Centre for 12 months during 2024. She has a special interest in women’s health and has recently completed a Graduate Diploma of Women’s health through FRANZCOG.



DR ANNA MOWRY - GP VOCATIONAL REGISTRAR, MBBS

Dr Anna is a vocational registrar who is undertaking specialist general practice training at Limestone Medical Centre for 12 months during 2024. Prior to taking a year of leave to welcome her first child, Dr Anna had completed her first year of specialist training in a very busy Inala practice. She has a wide range of interests and has shown natural procedural skills.


Dr Kelvin Feng – GP Vocational Registrar, MBBS

Dr Kelvin is undertaking is first year of GP specialist training with us at Limestone Medical Centre. He has serviced the Ipswich community for a number of years through his work at Ipswich General hospital ED and Urgent care
